Product DescriptionTowards the end of June 2011, I walked up to Viola Nasuuna, my friend with whom we work at Compassion International – Uganda Field Office. I told her that I felt in my heart for us to dedicate the coming month of July – the first month of the new financial year – to God in prayer and fasting.
She welcomed the idea; I asked her to get me a notebook in which to write everything God would say about her. We met every morning, lunch break, and evening in the Devotion Room where field office staff congregate every morning for prayer. My wife Winnie joined us in prayer over the phone.
At the end of our prayer and fasting, I had not written anything in the book; God had simply not said anything to me about Viola. Of course you can imagine that she was not amused with me.
However on 26th December 2011, God visited our home in Entebbe and asked my wife and I to write the words he would speak, not just for our friend Viola but for every single lady in the world that is calling on his name for a husband. So we faithfully penned “The Single Lady’s Prayer Guide for a Husband” in the span of one week.
In addition God also spoke concerning single men. However this is the subject of another book, “The Single Man’s Prayer Guide for a Wife”.
God desires for both single ladies and men seeking spouses and marriage to pray to him not in accordance with their thoughts or feelings, but in accordance with his established will for their lives.
Much as this book is a prayer guide for the single lady in need of a husband, its emphasis on the character development of the single man in search for a wife makes it his ideal informative character checklist as well.
